**Look left - In Resources - Vette Frame Progress**

We debuted our new frame at Daytona Bike Week....it was a hit! Miss BikeWeek.com even signed the tank!! See the build NOW!!

It all began when I started looking for a motorcycle.  I hit the dealership of every manufacturer I had ever heard of.  Nothing seemed to fit, I mean not even close.  Due to a back injury I had to have a rideable bike meaning a softail.  I kept on in search for a sweet ride I would feel right on and look right on as well.  I am 5' 3" on a very good day!  To top it off, I wanted a custom!  Something with some cool factor involved.  Well . . . you can believe that made it even harder to find as any of you may well know if you have an inseam of 30 or less!

A sweet Honda 750 lowered was the closest thing I found. But it was just some paint and bolt on accessories, definitely not a full blown custom.  I knew it wasn't the look I was craving so I started looking at frames with no success. Aftermarket frames are usually built to be radical and not very small.

Armed with a donor 1999 Buell 1200 Thunderbolt and some cool design ideas we decided to consult a US frame manufacturer to produce a frame that was structurely sound, low, sleek, and sexy!  So with much help from Scott (formerly of Flathead Power) and an American contract manufacturer,  we developed a made in the USA product and that is how the "Vette Frame" came into being . . .

Quick specs: Buell or Sportster 1997-2002, 32 degree rake, 2 inch stretch, 23 inch adjustable seat height.  Softtail shocks are tucked under.  We are currently updating with pictures of the build so please, check back soon!
